TEDDY BEARS PICNIC AT MANCHESTER FORT
To celebrate Paddington Bears' 50th Birthday we are holding a Teddy Bear Picnic at Borders Bookstore, Manchester Fort Shopping Park on Sat 28th & Sun 29th June to raise money for 'Touching Tiny Lives Campaign', which aims to prevent premature births and life-threatening pregnancy complications.At the Borders Bookstore at 2pm on both the Saturday and the Sunday local children are invited to join in the fun by bringing along their favorite teaddy bear and enjoying story-time fun and activities, whilst at the same time raising money for a good cause.
The event will be run in conjunction with 'Bring Your Bear' a national campaign to support Action Medical Research and celebrate Paddington Bear's birthday.
Manchester Fort Shopping Park, next to the new Green Quarter, has over 33 High Street stores, including Next, Asda Living, Borders, Superdrug, Clarks, Game and Boots, plus over 1200 FREE parking spaces.
