World Book Day
The Evening will see us work through various activities based around each of the World Book Day Titles.These activities are:
The Tyrannosaurus Drip songbook - a session where each child gets to use their imagination, and create a verse for a song about Dinosaurs.
These will be 6 lines long, and will be put together to create one long, prehistoric song.
Winnie to the Rescue!/Yucks Rotten Joke - For Winnie to the Rescue! we are looking for the types of spells that would be used to save your friends if they were ever in trouble, plus an illustration of you saving your friends using the spell.
Mr Gum and the Hound of Lamonic Bibber/Beast Quest: Sephir the Storm Monster - For Beast Quest we will be sending you all on an adventure to locate the 7 different Beasts that are hiding somewhere in our store. Can you find them all and discover the magic word that has been kept secret.
Percy Jackson and the Sword of Hades/Horrible Histories: Groovy Greeks - For Horrible Histories: Groovy Greeks we will be turning one of the Borders team into a toga wearing Greek. With the help of all of you of course.
We will start of by deciding what it is that Greeks should wear, then recreating this on our model. Interception Point/The Spooks Tale - For interception point we will become the bad guys and come up with codes for each letter of the alphabet that can be used in secret communication.
MATES DATES: THE SECRET STORY/Ten Stations - For Ten Sations we will be drawing the different types of transport that we know stops at stations.
