ITS A SIGN AT MUMMY MORNINGS
Local mums gathered together at Manchester Fort Shopping Parks popular Mummy Morning session, to teach their babies to communicate with baby sign language. The mums came to Borders Bookstore at Manchester Fort to learn about a form of pre-verbal communication. Babies understand so much more before they can talk and the taster session held by Tiny Talk showed the local mums how children from as early as 6 to 9 months old can begin to tell mum and Dad what they want, how they feel and what they are thinking.
Commenting on the session, Georgie Borson of Whitefield who came with her son Avi, 9mths, said: This was great fun, learning sign language through music and song it such a good idea. Avi and I regularly come to Manchester Forts Mummy Mornings and we really enjoyed this session. I particularly liked the sign for Mum which is when you point to your head to indicate who is the head of the house!Mummy Mornings is a group of local mums and dads that meet up every alternate Tuesday at the Borders Bookstore at Manchester Fort Shopping park to swap baby stories, get advice from local speakers/demonstrations and enjoy a free cup of coffee.
