HALF TERM FUN AT BORDERS BOOKSTORE, MANCHESTER FORT

Worried about what the kids can get up to at half term, well worry no more as Borders Bookstore at Manchester Fort Shopping Park have planned two weeks of exciting entertainment to keep all ages amused.

The two week extravaganza begins on Monday 11th Feb with Horrible Histories Day. At 12noon you can learn to knit, at 2pm take part in the wrap a mummy competition and at 3pm write your name in Hieroglyphics. There will also be a few pharaohs around the place.

The rest of the two weeks is as follows:

Tuesday 12th & Thursday 21st February Disney and Pirate Day (fancy dress)

2.00 - 3.00pm Princess and Pirate story time

3.00 - 4.00pm Craft session make a princess tiara or pirate hat

Wednesday 13th & 20th February Animals Day (fancy dress)

12.00 - 1.00pm Learn to knit

2.00 - 3.00pm Story time


3.00pm - 4.00pm Craft session colour in favourite animals and make them

Thursday 14th & Friday 22nd February High School Musical Day

2.00 - 3.00pm High School Musical Quiz

3.00 - 4.00pm Talent Show (register on the day from 12pm first come first served, limited to 20 places)

Friday 15th & Monday 18th February Mr Men & Little Miss Day

12.00 - 1.00pm Learn to knit

2.00 - 3.00pm Colouring and craft session

3.00 - 4.00pm Story time

Saturday 16th & 23rd & Sunday 17th & 24th??Dr Seuss Day

1.00pm - 2.00pm Dr Seuss story time

2.00pm - 4.00pm Craft session and find the Grinch Hunt

There will also be an opportunity to meet Mr Rude throughout the day

So now that the little ones are entertained dont forget there are over 33 high street stores including Next, TK Maxx, George, Argos, Blacks, Halfords, Comet and Boots to name but a few, to keep mum and dad busy.

Only 3 minutes from the city centre, next to the new Green Quarter, Manchester Fort Shopping park has over 1200 free parking spaces and great food outlets to keep you going all day.
