BOOK AWARD WINNER SIGNS AT MANCHESTER FORT
Winner of the Manchester Book award, Sophie Mckenzie, made a guest appearance this week at Borders Bookstore, Manchester Fort Shopping Park, signing copies of her winning book, Girl Missing.Over 2007 many fantastic books were published for readers aged 11 to 14 and many local children from Manchester enjoyed and devoured everyone. However, a shortlist of 6 finalists was chosen and hundreds of local people voted for Girl Missing by Sophie McKenzie.
Three of the other finalists also come down to Borders to meet their many readers who all wanted copies of their books signing.
