Wayne Rooney signs for Manchester Fort!
One of England and Manchester's best loved footballers will be signing on the dotted line at Manchester Fort Shopping Park, Cheetham Hill on Wednesday 20th September 2006.Wayne will be signing copies of his autobiography My Story so Far at 4pm in the Borders Bookstore when 200 lucky lottery winners will be able to meet him.
To be one of the lottery winners you must either send a postcard or email to the Borders store this must include their name, address and daytime contact details so you can be advised if you win (closing date to be confirmed in store). There will also be a list of the winners names in store. If you are a lucky winner then you must bring ID when collecting your ticket.
At the event the ticket holders will be allowed to bring one child with them or if they have any mobility issues then one helper to accompany them.
Only copies of Waynes book purchased from Borders Bookstore will be signed.
Commenting on the signing Philip Byrne, centre manager said "This is a real scoup for Manchester Fort Shopping Park, I know that lots of other local schemes where hoping to get Wayne Rooney but he is coming to us. The fact that his girlfriend likes a good shop and we have her favourite store, George, on site as well as a further 32 high street names, might have tipped the balance."
