MANCHESTER FORT WORKS WITH GMTV

Launching on Monday 9th July, Manchester Fort has joined forces with GMTV, ABTA and Child Safe to support the nationwide launch of a new family safety initiative called Family Safe Holidays. This free service will provide families with help, advice and accessories to keep their valuables, family and, in particular, their children safe on holiday, both at home and abroad.

The Family Safe Holidays initiative is an extension of Manchester Forts Child Safe Shopping scheme, which already provides wristbands and signage to help customers.

The nations biggest breakfast show, GMTV, is offering one million free Family Safe Holiday accounts to their viewers as part of the launch. Manchester Fort will play a vital part in this promotion, as the local pick-up point for free Family Safe Holiday accessories. As part of this TV campaign, customers will be able to collect information and wristbands from Manchester Fort Shopping Park.

Philip Byrne Centre Manager at Manchester Fort, said: As a family orientated centre that is already part of the Child Safe Zones scheme, we are pleased to be able to help spread the safety message to families as they venture on holiday, with Family Safe Holidays.

Manchester Fort Shopping Park, next to the new Green Quarter, has over 33 High Street stores, including Next, George, Superdrug, Clarks, Lilley & Skinner, Borders and Maplin Electronics. With 1300 FREE parking spaces, open from 9am 10pm, 7 days a week, Manchester Fort is North Manchesters premier shopping destination.
